The Mandalorian Season 2 is almost here...

Hello there!

Welcome to RedFive's first ever blog post! And I'm excited to talk about the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian! We are just a little over a month away before we get to continue on Din DJarin's adventures with Cara Dune, IG-11, Greef Carga and, of course, the Child.

This season we have been teased with some possible new additions that will add dimension and depth to this story. The first addition I'm looking forward to is Ahsoka Tano. She will be played by Rosario Dawson for the 1st ever live-action version of this character. Obviously, her story line is well guarded. Will she be the force sensitive helper to Din on his quest to reunite the Child with his/her kind? We know that, at this point in her arc, she is no longer a Jedi, so will this make her more of an appealing ally? As long as we get to see her wield those double sabers, I'm good. She has quickly become one of my favorite characters.

The next is a possible appearance by none other than everyone's first Mandalorian...Boba Fett. He is rumored to be played by Temuera Morrison, the original actor who portrayed Jango Fett in Attack Of The Clones. But, since Boba is an unaltered clone, this makes perfect since. Will we learn how Boba escaped the Sarlacc Pitt? Is Boba still a bounty hunter? Is he a member of the Guild? Is he after the Child? Were those his boots we saw in Season 1? Is he a friend? Or foe?

We can't mention Ahsoka without mentioning her close friend Captain Rex. Since he was a member of the clone army from Kamino this means he can be played by Temuera Morrison as well since he was the archetype for the Clone army. Will we get this appearance??

The real question will be, what impact will this have on the TOYS?? In recent weeks pretty much everything Ahsoka Tano has skyrocketed in price. Take for example the Hasbro Forces of Destiny doll. This was a $10-$14 item at retail, the Ahsoka version is now trending around the $125 mark while Jyn Erso and Leia haven't been trending up very much (if at all). Same thing is happening with her Pops with most of them now trending over $35/each (except for #268, get while you can!). And what about previously released Mando toys? I'm expecting them all to flex up in value as the new come out in what I can only expect to be in larger quantities than the original ones.

Let's see where this goes on October 30th!
